This participant sent in a "Diaper Cake". Here is waht she writes:
"the designs were embroidered onto a cotton fabric, called a 'band'. The
top is then scalloped, using the decorative stitches from my Janome 10000.
I then put 'fray check' on the scallops & wait till it's dry, then
cut it out. Added to this is just straight satin stitch [below scallop].
The band is then wrapped around disposable diapers, [which have rolled
up]. Added to this is; little booties, rattle, baby bib, pins, brush &
comb, spoon & fork, little dish with lid, pacifier and holder added
on top as decorations. The safety pins keep the 'iced' bands together at
the back. And there you have it."
