To embroider the designs from the set, hoop the fabric with a layer of water soluble mesh. Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the design and stop.
Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric. The areas of fabric which are meant to be removed are darkened in the picture. The designs can be embroidered both as inserts and as doilies. If you are making an insert, cut away the fabric only inside the outline. If you are making a doily, cut the fabric outside the outline as shown on the photo.
Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering. Wash away the stabilizer and leave to air dry. Press with steam.
All other designs from the set are embroidered as the first one. Use them as coasters or small doilies.
