Advanced Embroidery Designs. Three Roses Medallion Cutwork Lace.

To embroider this design, hoop the fabric with a layer of water soluble mesh. Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the design and stop.
Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric. The areas of fabric which are meant to be removed are darkened in the picture.
Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering.
Wash away the stabilizer and leave to air dry. Press with steam.
We embroidered this design on a simple blank napkin and turned it into a handsome doily.
