Bed Linen and Fleece Blanket Decorated with Marine Life

Here's an idea of how you can embellish a set of cotton bed linen
with lace designs from our Nautical
section. The edges of pillow cases were embroidered with designs from
the Nautical
Lace Set.

The edge of the flat sheet, which gets folded back on the blanket,
was embroidered with the fishes from the Tropical
Fish Sets.
|
|
|
To match this, we made a white fleece blanket, which we decorated
with the designs from the Nautical
Lace Set I and Nautical
Lace Set II. You will need 2 1/2 yards of white fleece. Choose the
embroidery thread to match the color of the sheet and pillow case. We scattered
the designs over the surface of the fleece. No stabilizer was used. Then,
we finished the raw edges with satin blanket binding.
