| This participant sent in pictures of sewing machine covers she made
for her friends. Here is what she writes: "I always wanted to try the photo
stitch technique and when I saw the Sewing
Machine design I decided that would be the one I would try. I made
these two sewing machine covers for some dear friends of mine last year
for Christmas. They are basically the same but each a little different.
I worked around the Sewing
Machine design by adding blocks of fabric that were made up of different
decorative stitches on my Janome 10000 as well as phrases that pertained
to sewing. Stitched them all together to form a cover that fit the Janome
10,000 as my two friends have that machine. I then added decorative shaped
buttons as a final touch." |
