Embroidery Contest 2008
Entry # 5
This entry is from a team of two people. One of them is a designer,
and the second one is an embroider. Together they created this Rodeo Queen
Clothing. The embroidery design used is Florentine
Rose.
"We chose this design because in the Pro Rodeo World there is a great
cause being fought for, which is ' Breast Cancer Awareness' every sunday
at Pro Rodeos across the country Both Cowboys and Cowgirls where Pink to
show support for this wonderful cause, they call it ' Tough Enough to wear
pink'. Our Miss Rodeo Utah 2007 Jenna Whittaker, asked us to create a design
depicting her support for this cause. So in Lamb Skin Pink Leather
we placed your Rose with ' Tough Enough' written across her back and on
her chest in the yoke we placed another rose and a pink ribbon with the
words Hope and Faith. We also dyed wrangler jeans pink and the roses went
all the way down the leg and a cancer ribbon was placed with 'Courage'
Written threw it. We then added over 2000 Swarovski Crystals all over the
roses. Jenna wears this outfit with pride she has traveled the United States
and Canada." |
