Embroidery Contest 2009
Entry # 16
| This contestant embroidered the hem of her long jacket with embroidry.
She creatively used the Three
Roses Medallion Cutwork Lace design. Instead of cutting out holes in
the fabric, she used the applique technique: she hooped the base fabric
(the hem of her jacket), placed applique fabric over the hoop and embroidered
the first color. Then she cut out the applique fabric where the cutwork
would normally be done, and finished the design.
The contestant works on a Brother PR-600. |
