Embroidery Contest 2009
Entry # 8
This entry is a small wall hanging, only 13.5" x 14.5". The contestant
writes:
"It was a submission I did for our local quilt guild retreat challenge.
The theme was "Silver Threads and Golden Needles". I stumbled upon
Advanced Emroidery's "Sewing
in the Garden" photo stitch embroidery by Renoir and I loved it.
We had 5 inch squares of three different fabrics that we had to incorporate
into our finished product. These three fabrics are the lighter ones
in the corners and along each side. I also put a golden needle into
the finished design in her hand which is not noticeable, I'm afraid, in
the photo.
I made this wall hanging on my Husqvarna Viking Platinum 950e machine." |
