| To embroider the designs from the set, hoop the fabric with a layer of water soluble mesh. Start embroidering. The machine will embroider the outline of the design and stop. |  |
| Take the hoop from the machine. With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric. The areas of fabric which are meant to be removed are darkened in the picture. |  |
Return the hoop to the machine and finish embroidering.
Wash away the stabilizer and leave to air dry. Press with steam. |  |
| The second design can be embroidered both as an insert and as a doily. If you are making an insert, cut away the fabric only inside the outline. If you are making a doily, cut the fabric outside the outline as shown on the photo. |  |
