The Amorous
Cats cross-stitch designs from our Cats
section are used for these lovable souvenirs.

| You will need 14 pieces of crafter's felt (the pieces should be big
enough to be hooped in a 4" x 4" hoop), satin ribbon and fiberfill for
stuffing. |
| Embroider the designs on 7 of the felt pieces. |
|
| Make a heart pattern out of paper. Place it over each design, trace
and cut along the line to get a felt heart with the design at the center. |
|
| Place the felt heart face-up onto another piece of felt. Attach with
pins and machine stitch close to the edge. Leave a small opening at the
top of the heart. |
|
| Cut around the edges of the heart to remove excess backing. |
|
| Stuff with fiberfill through the opening (use a pencil or tweezers
if the openning is too small). |
| Cut out 7 lengths of ribbon about 6" long. Fold each into a loop. Insert
the raw ends of the loop into the opening and machine-stitch the opening
closed. |

|
You can connect all hearts into a garland or use them individually.
