Quilts for Kids
These quilts are simple to make and at the same time look great, making
much-admired gifts. Their size makes them perfect for toddlers, although
enlarging the quilts should not prove hard.
|
| This quilt is 49 by 38 inches, perfect for a child under the age of
five. |
|
| It uses two kinds of patterned fabric, plus a layer of batting and
a rectangle of plain fabric for the back. |
|
| Each of the embroidered blocks is sized 9 by 7 1/2 inches (when stitched)
and features designs Angel with Clarinet,
Angel
with Lyre, Angel with Flute, Angel
with Tambourine,
Little Angel I, Little_Angel
II and Sun
& Clouds from our Angels
section. |
|
| This block uses the design Angel
with Flute. |
|
| Notice the space under the Sun design: we left it specially so that
the blanket can be personalized with the child's name |
|
| You can buy these 6
Angels designs together as a set with a discount of 15% and the Sun
and Clouds designs as a bonus. |
|
| The red quilt below was made using the same technique, but the embroidered
blocks are slightly smaller: 4 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. The ready quilt measures
25 x 32 1/2 inches |
|
| For this quilt we used the Baby
Animals Sets I, II
and III
from our For
Kids section, which you can now purchase
together with a discount of 30%.
In our For Kids section you can also find some other sets suitable for
quilts, such as Boys
and Girls and Merry
