Our customer Cheryl W. from RI, has sent us several of her works, which
you can see on this page.
Cheryl also wrote her instructions on how she embroidered the towels
with lace designs: |
|
| "I got hooked on stitching on huck toweling
and as you can see I have been using the cutwork lace designs. The cotton
towel fabric has been purchased at my local Jo-Ann Fabric store.
The side edges are already finished for you. You need to pre-wash and dry
the fabric before stitching as there is shrinkage. |
|
| Instead of cutting away the fabric, I have
been using Fiber Etch as it dissolves natural plant fibers and makes the
satin edge very neat in appearance. You need to remember to stitch
the design with polyester machine embroidery thread. Your cutwork
lace designs are nice and fast to stitch out. Just add some trim
to the bottom edge of the towel and you have a very pretty towel." |
|
| For this cutwork table runner Cheryl used the design Rose
Lace III and a design from Lace
Set VII. |
