| We called this wall quilt "Spring Song" and we made it to celebrate
May, month of blossoming trees and beautiful spring flowers. For this wall
hanging, we used six different fabrics and the machine embroidery design
Goldfinch
in the cross-stitch technique from our Catalog. |

The finished size of the quilt is 27" x 27".

| We pieced the top first, then did the embroidery. |
|
| Then we cut several flowering branches from our border fabric and appliqued
them to the top. |
|
| After that we placed the top over batting and backing and machine-quilted
the working piece. The quilting is free-motion and was done on a regular
sewing machine |
