Lace Blouse for 18-inch Dolls
|
This blouse will fit the American Girl Doll and similar dolls of
18-inch height. The Lace
Blouse is a set of 6 Free-Standing Lace machine embroidery designs.

| You will need Vilene water-soluble stabilizer, polyester or rayon embroidery
threads for the blouse, and 50- or 60-weight cotton embroidery threads
for the ruffles, three small buttons or beads, and small embellishments
(optional). |

tutorial section. If you never worked with our FSL designs before,
please read the tutorials, this might be helpful. |

Some points to remember from the General Guidelines:
Use Vilene water soluble stabilizer;
Use the same thread for the needle and bobbin.
DO NOT embroider several designs in one hoop.
Make sure you use a sharp needle. |

| Embroider the blouse with the polyester or rayon embroidery threads.
Embroider the ruffles with 50- or 60-weight cotton embroidery thread. It's
possible to embroider the ruffle with polyester or rayon. However, in this
case, you should use a 40- or 50-weight bobbin thread with a matching color
that does NOT have a sheer finish. Cotton or spun polyester (with a matte
finish) may be suitable. |
