| These are instructions on how to embroider the FSL
Ireland Forever design and make a greeting card with it. The card is
great for St. Patrick's Day. |
|
| To embroider the design you will need water-soluble mesh, embroidery
threads (rayon or polyester) and a piece of sheer organza. |
| Step One: Hoop a layer of watersoluble mesh. Start the machine.
The machine will embroider the outline of the harp and stop. |
|
| Step Two: Place a piece of organza on the outline and start
the machine. It will embroider the same outline over the fabric and stop
again. |
|
| Step Three: With a pair of sharp scissors cut away the fabric
close to the stitches. |
|
| Step Four: Return the hoop to the machine and finish the embroidery. |
|
| Step Five: Rinse the stabilizer in lukewarm water. Neatly spread
on a towel. Leave to air dry. |

|
| Step Three: With the craft knife, or scissors, cut away the
shape. |
|
Step Four: Put a thin layer of glue along the openning.
Put a thin layer of glue on the back side of the harp. |
