"I made this growth chart for my niece. The baby's room is a soft green, and the mother plays musical instruments. I used AED Angel Designs for Quilt plus Angel with Violin, and changed the colors to soft greens with a hint of peachy pink. Heather's full name, birthdate, weight and length are embroidered at the bottom where her height at birth is marked. The clouds were embroidered using a soft pink and green. The clouds shown on the chart are rejects - the ones actually used had a background fabric color the same as the chart. The small clouds were modified to have a pointy edge - to be marked with a permanent marker with the date her height was measured. I created many large clouds of various sizes to be glued throughout the chart with notes about "baby's first step", "baby's first word", etc using a permanent marker. The cording along the 3 edges is tightly gathered around the cord for softness. Really turned out cute! I sent Julie the sample angel stitch outs to make pillows and other items for the baby's room, and as gifts for friends.
