This machine embroidery design is part of our Freestanding Battenberg Lace collection. It uses the Freestanding Battenberg Lace technique. It will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").

Place the finished motif on a card. Using a sewing needle or the needle end of a compass, punch the card through the openings in the lace. Make punches Along the outlines of the body, about 1/8" from the edge.
With a pencil, join the holes that you punched.
Using a craft knife, cut out the shape inside the outline.
Place some glue along the edges of the shape.
Place the embroidered motif over the glue. Press. Place under a press for some time until the glue dries.
