This set of machine embroidery designs is part of our Freestanding Battenberg Lace collection. It uses the Freestanding Battenberg Lace technique. The designs will fit the Large hoop (5" x 7").
You can use the two motifs to make lace inserts or borders on tablelinens. To make this doily, we connected 4 square motifs. Stitched them on a piece of fabric, then removed the fabric from under the lace to make an insert. After this we attached 8 rectangular motifs to the fabric. Then removed the excess fabric from under the lace getting the lace border.
The motifs can also be used to make a greeting card, coasters, and bookmarks.
