Freestanding Applique Chrismon Set

These are instructions on how to embroider the designs from the Freestanding Applique Chrismon Set.

You will need

• embroidery thread (either polyester or rayon),
• wash-away mesh stabilizer,
• any fabric - organza, cotton or felt (different types of fabric give different interesting results),
• sharp scissors.

Stops: 3

Emboridery

Step One: Hoop water-soluble mesh stabilizer. Upload the files. Start the machine. The first color will embroider a circle.

Step Two: Cover the outline with a piece of fabric. Start the machine. It will embroider the same outline over the fabric.

Start Three: With a pair of sharp scissors, cut away the fabric around the outline.

Step Four: Start the machine again and finish embroidery. Change threads as needed.

Step Five: Wash away the stabilizer, neatly spread on a flat surface and leave to air dry. Press if needed.
