Embroidery
Stabilize the central part with cut-away embroidery stabilizer. Hoop and tighten the hoop. Upload the file of Autumn Girl into the machine. Embroider the design.

Quilting and Finshing
Now place the backing on a flat surface (table) face down. Cover with batting. Spread your working piece over it.

Pin all layers together. We quilted in a free motion style. First we quilted around the embroidery with matching thread, then through the embroidery, inside the leaves and curls with gold metallic thread.
Then we quilted the borders in a free-motion style.
Press with heavy steam. Square the quilt. Finish the raw edges with the binding.

Now embellish the quilt as you like with buttons, ornaments and FSL leaves.
